- Graduated from The Rhode Island School of Design in 1983 with a BFA in Film/Video
- Worked as a film and video editor from 1983 to 1992 in NYC
- Began painting in 1993
- Has shown work in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts since 1994
- Graduated from NYU in 2003 with an MA in art therapy
- Currently works with at-risk youth in foster care and in private practice
